    Initial Consultation

    Maddi hears about your health and menstrual history, past surgeries, and your goals for abdominal massage.

    This allows Maddi to understand your body as a whole and tailor the treatment to your individual needs.

    Initial Abdominal Massage

    Within the same appointment, Maddi works from the rib cage down to the pelvic bone using slow, supportive massage techniques to release tension and restriction through the abdominal area.

    The treatment focuses on improving circulation, lymphatic flow, reducing muscular tension, breath connection, and nervous system regulation.

    Reflection & Ongoing Support

    At the end of your session, we’ll discuss how your body responded to treatment and any reflections from the appointment. Because this work is often cumulative, a minimum of three sessions is generally recommended to allow the body time to release, adapt, and build on each treatment.

  • Yes - you can receive treatment at any time during your cycle. During your period, Maddi may adapt certain techniques to ensure you remain comfortable, particularly through the lower abdominal and pelvic areas.

  • Everyone is different, however Maddi generally recommends starting with a series of at least 3 sessions. Chronic pain patterns and scar restrictions often develop over time, and ongoing treatment allows the body more opportunity to respond and adapt.

  • Yes - for some people. The abdominal area can hold significant tension, stress, and emotional guarding, particularly after chronic pain, surgery, fertility journeys, or birth experiences. Some clients feel deeply relaxed, while others may feel emotional release or increased awareness after treatment. All is welcomed and Maddi provides a safe space and referral if necessary.

  • The initial consultation is 90 minutes and is $180.00.
    Follow up appointments are 75 minutes and are $160.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that helps you feel relaxed before and after your session. You are draped at all times. Many clients prefer not to rush straight back into work or commitments afterwards.

  • Yes, in your follicular phase only (prior to conception). However this also depends on your circumstances and health history. If you are trying to conceive, currently undergoing fertility treatment, or think you may be pregnant, please discuss this with Maddi prior to booking so treatment can be appropriately adapted.

  • That is completely understandable. The abdominal area is personal and often vulnerable, especially for those living with pain or previous medical experiences. Maddi prioritises consent, communication, and pacing throughout the session so you feel informed, comfortable, and supported.
